Tell us about your background in Physiotherapy.
I completed my post-graduation in the field of Musculoskeletal from Meerut University in 2009. Since then I have gained extensive work experience in major departments at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (New Delhi) for the past 8 years handling pre-and post-surgical cases, ortho and neuro patients, as well as women’s health.
What are your interests?
I am an avid traveller, exploring the roads less taken is my prime interest in life. Along with that, I have a knack about capturing beautiful landscapes as I pass by them through my lens. Keeping up with current news around the world is another thing that captures my daily interests.
Tell us about a life-changing experience or adventure you’ve been on.
It was while I was interning at the Army Hospital (R & R- Delhi) in 2008, I worked extensively and managed to rehabilitate a young quadriplegic army personnel under the guidance of my seniors. After which he was able to return to his duties with The Indian Army. This was truly an experience that changed my life and made me believe in myself and my profession.
What is your area of expertise?
I am experienced in the management of pre-and post-surgical ortho and Neuro cases along with extensive rehabilitation of sports injury patients. Another expertise of mine is to treat patients having various neck and back problems.
What is the most fulfilling part of the job?
It is just so rewarding to see my patients regain their independence and attain the best potential of themselves in their respective fields. Their confidence in me and smiles on their faces gives me the best feeling of contentment.
